GENE BLOG
Our blog, an online platform is where our resource persons (training team) post content related materials on a particular topic or subject to develop a high level of student/customer engagement. It may interest the reader to note that Gene Banking Tutors was set up in Abuja in 1994 to meet the need for trained personnel in the Nigerian financial sector by facilitating the transfer of critical skills in banking and finance. This role is vital not only in helping students in meeting the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) but also to address the problem of inadequate executive capacity in the banking industry. Towards this end, we run internet based on-line MFB Certification Courses to fast-track the production of certified microfinance bankers and CIBN chartered bankers. Above all, Gene banking blog aims at increasing productivity and enhancing personal effectiveness at work, acquiring high quality service attitudes and developing skills in financial institutions’ analysis and restructuring. Due to the busy work schedule most bank workers will prefer our action learning programmes which drastically reduce the number of man hours lost by employers who send their staff for the training. Our argument is that it is more cost effective to develop home-grown management. Gene banking blog is integrated with Google: a smarter way to learn.
